Ryans Rest Classic Queenslander Accommodation is a family owned business and forms part of Classic Queenslander Cairns Accommodation consisting of Ryans Rest, Grimshaw Haus and 194 Spence St Cairns.
Ryan’s Rest Classic Queenslander Accommodation consists of traditional Queenslander accommodation located only two minutes walk to Cairns Central Shopping Centre on the edge of Cairns city centre.

Our Properties
Located at 18 Terminus Street Cairns, Ryans Rest consists of 3 x two bedroom apartments downstairs and upstairs there are 4 double rooms with their own separate TV/sitting room and 2 boutique single bed rooms. Upstairs also has a large communal kitchen, two bathrooms and front and rear decks.
Grimshaw Haus is located at the rear of Ryans Rest and consists of 2 x one bedroom apartments and 2x three bedroom apartments which can be used by long term guests.
194 Spence St consists of two very large 3 bedroom apartments available for long term use located on the Cairns southern cycleway close to the city near Barlow Park.
22 Richardson St is a large 3 bedroom tropical cottage in Cairns' premiere suburb of Edge Hill. In close proximity to restaurants, Edge Hill shopping centre, the Botanical Gardens and the Tanks Arts Centre.

Location and Points of Interest
Ryans Rest is just two minutes walk to Cairns Central Shopping Centre and from there the essence of downtown Cairns and all it has to offer.
Cairns Central is a large shopping centre containing a supermarket open 7 days a week till 9pm, department stores, travel agency, ANZ / Westpac branch banks, dentist, doctor, pharmacy, numerous shops, cinemas and a food court.
Cairns Railway station is also located in the Cairns Central complex, with daily historical train services to Kuranda rainforest and a passenger service to Brisbane.
Walking through Cairns Central will bring you to Shields St - featuring bars, closest liquor store, restaurants and shopping. From here it is a short stroll to the Lagoon and Esplanade.
Ryan's Rest is conviently located close to Barlow Park and the Cairns Show Grounds and a short walk to the Cairns Convention Centre.

Services
Ryan's Rest provides Cairns accommodation for both short and long term guests, in particular international travellers who are on holiday or may wish to remain in Australia for extended periods. We can easily transition travellers form short term accommodation into one of our longterm guest apartments.
We provide nbn WIFI and electricity, which is a convenience for travellers unable to make long term commitments.

Speak to our staff, who can answer your questions and advise on the best places to see. Ryan's Rest staff can organise tours if you wish. We also provide car tours of Cairns and the Region.

OUR OFFICE
Our office is located at Grimshaw Haus (ground floor, at the rear of Ryan's Rest). The office is usually manned from 9am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. After hours and weekend enquiries can be made by calling 0428 514 738.
CHECK OUT
Check out is 10am, however late checkouts can be arranged if availability allows. Guests can also leave baggage in our secure area for later collection.
When ofice is unmanned, leave keys in the room door or inside the room.
